I was sincerely apprehensive about TURO, and that's not 'just' b/c I'm over 50😉 & had never used TURO; nevertheless I would be remise if I didn't share how seamlessly straightforward this whole experience was for me.
Going in I knew I was looking for a VERSA due to the gas mileage and the one I chose(hence forth known as 'Blue Betty') immediately popped off the screen. The host was very experienced and has stellar reviews so I took the plunge.
When Blue Betty arrived I dare say she was even better looking in person and she was top-shelf clean inside & out! The host, Ms. Colleen, was wicked chill, explained every single thing to me regarding Blue Betty and TURO which gave me a sense of peace I find hard to articulate.
I rented Blue Betty for a week driving her around Hampton, Newport News, than we went to Elizabeth City NC, Moyock, and than up to in and around Richmond, VA for a few days. Blue Betty's interior is much more spacious inside than she appears from the outside; she handles very well, all her bells & whistles(interior/exterior) work, she's superb on gas and was just an overall joy to rent.
The host(Ms. Colleen) was prompt, kind, intelligent, generous with her time and knowledge, straightforward, above-board, honest, she takes great care of Blue Betty, and Colleen is someone I would highly recommend to first time and seasoned TURO users.
