My experience with this host was absolutely terrible. My scheduled pickup time was 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026. When I arrived, someone was still repairing the vehicle by patching the rear taillight, which delayed my pickup by nearly an hour. I was visiting from out of town and had an event to attend, so this delay significantly disrupted my schedule.
To make matters worse, the vehicle was provided with only half a tank of gas. Within the first five minutes of driving on the highway, a hubcap flew off the car. Shortly afterward, one of the tires went flat due to a nail, forcing me to pull over into a parking lot. All of these issues occurred within approximately the first hour of my rental.
Because the vehicle was not ready at the reserved pickup time, I was already running late for my event. After the tire issue, I contacted the host and requested a full refund. Despite the condition of the vehicle and the fact that I had possession of it for less than two hours, the host stated that he would only refund me for one day. He instructed me to end the trip, place the key in the lockbox, and advised that someone would come retrieve the vehicle.
As a result, I will be disputing the charge. I have used Turo on multiple occasions and have never experienced anything like this. This experience has left a very negative impression, and it has made me question whether I will use Turo again. I would not recommend renting from this host.
