The check engine light was on from the beginning. The owner lied to me and said the check engine light was on because “the window was open.” I continued to have issues with the car he said it was nothing. One day the car didn’t start. He used his own tow truck and garage company to tow the car and evaluate me then tried to charge me 285$ two days later. He said the battery just needed a charge as well when the engine light was now on, the exclamation light was on, the steering wheel light was on. He then told me I was responsible for paying for everything to be fixed when the car was leased to me with the check engine light and and kept lying to me about the lack of seriousness about the issues. He is also rude.
Thankfully Turo keeps all communication and messages. I have text messages to prove. You’re the one that complained and wanted me to pay for your uber and refund you. You’re the one that left the car lights on and caused my vehicles battery to drain. Now because of you I have to buy a battery. Do not rent to this person. She doesn’t know how to operate a vehicle.
