Wonderful vehicle wonderful host!

I would advise anyone from renting this vehicle, if you can avoid it. Upon pickup, the host was very kind and shared more about his journey on Turo, which, as a first time user of Turo, was great.

The vehicle, however, reeked of marijuana and, despite having the windows rolled down in the freezing cold to air it out, we still had to purchase an air freshener to put in the car. Every time we stepped back in, the smell of marijuana hit us in the face to the point where I was nauseous.

The vehicle had a check engine light turn on two days before I was set to return it, the starter was noticeably not working and it was a struggle to turn the vehicle on, lastly the vehicle left us stranded on the side of the merge onto the highway due to another light on the dash turning on regarding traction control and the car no longer accelerating. Law enforcement had to get involved, the car had to be towed from the highway, and there was genuine fear for our safety due to where this occurred. The host was informed of the check engine light as soon as it appeared and he routed me to Turo customer service, therefore any response to this review should not be seen as proper customer service.

I hope this helps someone seeking a rental car.

I just want to say that was my first experience with Toro. It was KND rentals absolute best experience, clean car easy instructions to get and drop off car very helpful and understanding especially when I need an extension. I will definitely be back to rent again, they were pure lifesavers.
