Hosts did their best to troubleshoot. After parking the car there was a gear shift problem. Now the car is stuck in gear.
Had to cancel the trip and work with turo on finishing out the trip. Turo has been awesome to work with.
The car needs mechanical help before being rented again.

Jeffrey, the shifter initially would not leave Park. By your own account, you forced it, it moved all the way into Sport, and it then became stuck. We believe forcing the lever worsened the problem and may have damaged the selector mechanism. A mechanical inspection will confirm the damage. We assisted with troubleshooting and will have the vehicle repaired before renting it again.
