Host attempted to charge me with a improper return fee after I followed his instructions. Was pulled over because the tag was expired and rear view camera worked sometimes. Feels like there’s no power steering when maneuvering the car. If I pay in full for the service, I also expect honesty with the service. Encouraged me to keep driving with the expired tag after telling him the police said I couldn’t and wanted me to return the vehicle mid trip, saying I couldn’t get a refund but I did through Turo.

So temporary tags in TN are valid for 60 days. The only reason this guest is paranoid about being pulled over is because he’s driving drunk! I had to cancel the trip early because I was uncomfortable with him having the car. Then he threatens to tow it. I told the guest to leave the key in the car and lock the door and he left the windows down with the key in the car. It could’ve been stolen. But he just wanted the smell of alcohol and grease to escape before I picked it up.
