Flawless pickup and drop off, very reliable car

Car was just as described. Great for getting us around while visiting Charleston.

The car owner was responsive and the pick up instructions were very clear. Other than that, this experience was terrible. The car has multiple mechanical issues. Trunk doesn't open with the key bob and the engine doesn't shift right. The service engine light came on and we were afraid that the car would break down. At pick up the car was filthy, very clearly not washed. Sand on the floor boards and a dirty/poopy windshield. The smell of the vehicle was awful, weed and cigarette smoke. This experience will have us thinking twice about renting from Turo again.

Communication was was good with owner. Car was clean. Car had a low tire pressure light so we added air and it retained the pressure. The engine light was on and we were told it was a sensor that was replaced but light never went off. When driving the engine sputtered while in 1st then it drove fine when it shifted into the next gear. All and all the car drove good for what we needed it for. Thank you for offering it for use.
