The hosts were very nice and communicative but I would not book this car again. It was not a smooth drive and there are so many tips and tricks they had to send messages about to operate it. It honestly felt like a hassle just to drive it around.

I'm sorry that you had a poor experience. I would like to let everyone know that this car was my father's car and it has been maintained professionally since it was new. It has new tires and brakes. It's smooth like butter and the power of the turbo diesel is a dream to drive.
Five stars. Neal is a top-tier host. Zero BS, solid communication, and he gives you the exact playbook for fueling (it takes diesel) and drop-off so there’s absolutely no guesswork. The VW ran great and the whole process was totally seamless. Highly recommend renting from him.
