I reserved a vehicle to use for weekend for work. my own car is in shop. I paid, answered questions, then I got a text saying that that vehicle I rented needed some work done on it but they had another one I could use I responded to the message it took hours to get an answer I was not sure but I figured it out through turo how to cancel that and rent another vehicle from them when I went to pick up the car that they said they had for me, apparently it had just got there and she needed me to come back at 5:30 I paid $94 extra to take the vehicle then while I waited for her to go put gas in it and take pictures so I paid to pick up at 3:30 but I didn't get to leave until 3:45 went home took a shower and a nap went to work at 9:00 and I noticed immediately the vehicle smell like cigarettes so I messaged The Host to document that and make sure that's not going to be a problem for me because I don't smoke. Went to work I got off at 3:30 am (i work 30 minutes from my house mind you near North Tryon and Harris not a good area) The vehicle broke down it would not start it has been a hassle ever since I don't have my money back yet I don't have a credit I'm waiting on that part and I get an invoice from host threatening collection for $154 smoking violation $18 refueling surcharge, So a car that wouldn't start how do I take it to gas station? It was t o w e d back to their business. Nobody's fault if a car broke down how they handle the situation that has been nothing but an inconvenience for me and they still want to charge? The cars are old anyway also the charger for the phone did not work so my phone died in the midst of this and I had to walk to a gas station. Zero empathy they were very dismissive and assumed i had caused the situation. I thought they were about good business at first... but after the response i got and charging me regardless I've disputed that. Also i spent $52 on Uber to get home that night. I don't deserve this stress and they sure don't deserve my business.

Booked it for 5:30 and wanted to get it at 3:30
Drained the battery and claimed that the car died on her
Did not refill the gas and got away with it with Turo rep
Took the key 1/2 hour away from the car and got away with improper return!..
This house was absolutely incredible, very professional and knowledgeable of their customers needs. I definitely will be using this service in the future and recommend to any and everyone.
