I rented this car for a day while my own vehicle was having a side mirror repaired, and I had plans in Los Angeles. One of the main reasons I chose this rental was the pickup location, which was less than a mile from my home and extremely convenient.

The pickup process was very easy. The instructions were clear and thorough, the keys were easy to access, and the vehicle was readily available when I arrived.

I did notice that the car presented slightly better in the listing photos than it did in person. It showed more wear than I expected based on the photos, but given that it is an older vehicle and the rental price was reasonable, I did not consider that a significant issue and did not deduct a star for it.

The reason for my 4-star rating was the condition of the exterior. In my 20 years of driving and renting vehicles, this was by far the dirtiest rental car I have received, externally. Rental cars are not always freshly washed, and I completely understand that, but this vehicle appeared as though it had not been cleaned for quite some time.

I was heading to an upscale event and had not planned extra time to stop at a car wash because I was not expecting the vehicle to be in that condition. As a result, I had to arrive in a noticeably dirty car, which was disappointing.

For future rentals, I would recommend either giving the vehicle a quick wash before pickup or notifying renters in advance if the exterior has not been cleaned recently so they can plan accordingly.

Other than that, I had no issues with the rental experience, and the pickup and return process were smooth and convenient.

I don’t want to hurt anyone’s business, but I feel it’s important to leave honest feedback—especially in a competitive market where good service matters.

Unfortunately, the car was not clean when I received it, with a very dirty exterior that wasn’t suitable for my business meeting. The tire air pressure also hadn’t been properly checked, and I had to fix it myself.

While the host was responsive before the trip, communication dropped significantly during the rental. When I requested an early return due to these issues, it felt like the focus was more on charges than resolving the situation.

I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future renters.
