Worst experience I’ve had renting a vehicle. The car was not properly prepared l, there was no spare tire, which left me stranded on the highway after a blowout and cost me a significant amount of my rental time.
Instead of handling the situation fairly, I was charged additional time and then hit with multiple claims that I strongly dispute, including damages that were not present while the car was in my possession and a smoking violation that is completely untrue (I do not smoke).
I also have third-party evidence from the towing company showing the condition of the vehicle, which does not match the claims being made after the trip. This raises serious concerns about how these charges were handled.
Overall, this experience was stressful, unprofessional, and unfair. I would strongly advise anyone renting to take detailed photos and videos before and after the trip. Rent at your own risk.
