The car was great, our kids loved getting to be in a Tesla. Self driving was absolutely amazing and made us want to buy one.
The host did an excellent job communicating and was very kind throughout the process making sure we understood all the ins and outs of the Tesla if we needed help.
We would definitely rent from him again.

The Tesla itself was perfect — an amazing car overall. The FSD (Full Self-Driving) feature is genuinely incredible, and I’d highly recommend this car for long road trips.
The only issue we had was with charging. Since I believe I was one of the first people to rent this car for an extended period (2 months), we ran into some early hiccups: the owner wasn’t paying his charging bills on time and was hard to reach, which meant we spent many hours waiting at Tesla Superchargers that should have worked instantly.
That said, João, the host on Turo, was always very friendly and clearly learned from these early mistakes — by our last weekend with the car, we had zero issues at all.
Docking one star purely for the early charging headaches, but the car itself and João’s responsiveness once things were sorted out made this a great experience overall.
