A few days before departing for my trip, I was notified the car I rented from them was no longer available, and they offered another vehicle for the same price. When picking up the car there seemed to be quite a few areas of damage to the body, which I didn’t care too much about. When opening the car for the first time, there was a very strong scent that was very apparent. As I pulled away , I noticed a loud noise when turning the wheel , as if something was rattling in the front end of the vehicle. I quickly pulled over into a parking spot and contacted the host. They told me it was very common for the bearings to go out in this particular year of vehicle. I asked if it was safe to drive and they assured me that it had been inspected five days beforehand and was cleared safe. The smell in the vehicle was so strong that when I spent more than a few minutes in the car, the scent would remain in my hair and on my clothing. On one hand, I was thankful to have a vehicle since the original one was canceled pretty close to the time of my trip, but I must admit, I was very nervous driving the car the entire time. I was shocked that this was the car that I was given and charged the same price for the initial vehicle that I had secured. This definitely does not seem like a vehicle that should be in rotation to rent.

As this trip progressed. We quickly realized there was no way to make this guest happy. She just wanted to be unhappy and tell us reason to be unhappy that simple dis not line up with real life outcomes.
