The Toyota Camry Hybrid ran solid mechanically. But it definitely needs some cosmetic attention. Both the driver and passenger side airbag trim panels were not connected properly. The hood was secured, but you could see it moving at highway speeds.
The headlights were heavily oxidized and really need to be restored. Driving at night in the South, especially on roads with no street lights, was difficult because of how bad the headlights were. The charging ports also didn’t work very well.
The E-ZPass transponder wasn’t attached to the car either. We did our best to register as we traveled .
For the price, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. Mechanically it was solid , but the overall condition wasn’t what I expected. Compared to renting from a company like Enterprise, there are definitely some things that could be improved.

This is my second booking with Turo and second booking with MacKenzie, I normally rent from a rental place but I have to say both rentals were super clean and efficient. Definitely a safe and smooth ride for my kids and I. The host response time is amazing.
I absolutely love that’s this host is in Middletown makes it super convenient for me since I’m in the process of getting my own car.
I originally booked with another host prior and they cancelled on me an hour before the pick up time due to issues with their car but honestly I’m glad it happened because I waited a day and found MacKenzie’s rental which since I’ve used before I felt more comfortable with! So thank you again MacKenzie for trusting me with your vehicles I really appreciate it!
