Host was great, very accommodating and professional and communicated quickly. Gave me a discounted rate when I had to extend which was much appreciated. This was my first Turo experience not picking up a vehicle that was someone’s personal driver and not picking it up from someone’s house. Pickup was in a parking lot next to a gas station, preventing the flexibility of picking up and dropping off to an individual. This is being run more like a business in the same way Airbnb is becoming a hotel service instead of renting out someone’s personal house. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just not what I’m looking for when I rent from Turo. I would just go to Enterprise if that’s what I wanted. The Mini Cooper ran well, no mechanical issues whatsoever, and was fun to park and zip around in a small car. The sunroof was great for Florida. Seats in good condition, Tires looked a little worn to me, rims were definitely scratched up but that’s probably to be expected from a rental, and some cosmetic issues like the visor mirror won’t stay up so you can use it and it was missing the hood ornament. The phone holder is a nice touch. Good car for its age and it ran well which is the most important part. And again the host was very professional and pleasant to work with.
