Enzo's mini is a great car. It's easy to park and maneuver and a lot of fun to drive. However, upon arriving with my son and finding the car in the airport parking lot we noticed warnings about air pressure in the tires. Not being from miami, we chased around a couple of hours trying to find a reputable tire shop to check out the tires. We had to purchase valve stem covers since the back 2 tires were missing covers. The tires were bald and Goodyear suggested they need to be replaced. I concur. I was frankly shocked that anyone would drive on tires in that condition or rent to others a car with tires in such a dangerous condition. Fortunately, after spending a couple of hours on remedying that issue, we had no other issues with the tires except the constant warning not to drive over 80 that mini puts up when you turn on the car.
Turo should require proof from Enzo and others that the cars have been maintained and are in safe driving condition. This was my first time using Turo. I traditionally use a car rental company, but we wanted a fun car. I have a friend who has used this service in the past and never had an issue, so I think this might be a problem not systemic to Turo, but with individuals who rent their vehicles out. Turo should do something to fix that. Being a lawyer, I see lawsuit potential all over the place.
I'm very sorry about your comments. The car just passed the annual inspection required by Turo. The valve stem caps on the tires don't provide any benefit; if you put them on, we appreciate it, but they're not necessary. And I don't think a comment from an unqualified person is the solution. In any case, we've already sent the car to our trusted mechanic for inspection.

The car was great (loved having a convertible with the current weather), pick up and drop off were so easy, & the owner was super responsive when coordinating the pickup details. I’d easily rent this car again!
