My wife and I decided to try Turo for the first time and thought it would be fun to have a convertible while we attended the Palm Beach Boat Show. We admittedly have high standards for quality and luxury. While our host met those standards the condition of the car did not. The rims all had major curb rash, there was damage to the paint and a missing sensor cover on the front of the car. The interior was badly damaged including a duct taped door handle, shattered gear selector, broken convertible top toggle switch (the roof still operated but the switch is falling off the console and needs to be held in place to do so). The cleanliness was not the worst but similar to what I would expect for a personal car that hasn't been cleaned in a month but had most trash removed. We made the best of it and enjoyed having the top down but it was embarrassing to hand over to the valet at our hotel every night. Our host was fine and had great communication and clear instructions for us.
