The car itself was great, but unfortunately the experience with the host was very disappointing due to pickup/drop-off issues and post-trip charges.
At pickup, I had to pay for airport parking that had accumulated before my trip began, including several hours before my scheduled pickup time. This was not disclosed to me ahead of time. Turo later confirmed that I am only responsible for parking charges that occur after the scheduled pickup time.
There was also a fuel issue. When I picked up the vehicle, it had about 3/4 of a tank, which I documented with photos. When I returned it, the vehicle had more fuel than when I received it, closer to 7/8 of a tank. Despite that, the host submitted a fuel reimbursement request for $36, which totaled $54 after Turo’s fees.
I disputed the fuel charge and provided photos clearly showing the pickup and return fuel levels. Even after I provided that proof, the host still escalated the dispute to Turo.
The vehicle was nice, but based on the undisclosed parking cost and the fuel reimbursement claim despite photo evidence, I would strongly recommend future renters take detailed photos, document the fuel level, parking charges, and pickup/drop-off conditions, and keep records of everything.
As per Turo regulations we are required to park the car at the airport parking lot. In regards to the review, you got upset over gas charges when you left with half a tank instead of fueling up. For future reference we do offer prepaid fueling extras as well as free pick up from our location if cost is an issue.

Juan delivered an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. This 2024 BMW M2 was hands down one of the most incredible cars I’ve ever driven — the power, handling, sound, and overall driving feel were unreal, especially paired with the manual transmission. As someone learning and experiencing stick shift more seriously for the first time, this car made me fall completely in love with driving all over again.
But what truly made this trip exceptional was Juan himself. He is genuinely one of the kindest, most welcoming, and down-to-earth people I’ve met. He took the time to make me feel comfortable, answered every question I had, and clearly takes immense pride in both his car and the experience he provides. You can tell immediately that he’s passionate about cars and truly cares about the people renting from him.
The car was spotless, perfectly maintained, and an absolute head-turner everywhere I went. Every drive felt special — from cruising local roads to opening it up on the highway, this M2 delivered pure joy every second behind the wheel.
If you’re considering renting this car, do it. You will not regret it. Juan set the gold standard for what a Turo experience should be, and I genuinely can’t wait to rent from him again in the future. Thank you again, Juan, for an experience I’ll remember for a very long time.
