I only needed the vehicle for the day. I've rented this type of vehicle many times before from other places so I familiar with it. It operated fine. I got to and from where I went to no problem. This is my second time renting from Auto Team but my first time visiting their Metuchen location. Pickup was fairly seamless. After checking in and taking photos you call the host line to have the key remote unlocked. The car was okay on gas. As much as it could be considering the astronomical gas prices being what they are right now. I used 3/8 of a tank for the whole trip. Fill-up ran me about $25. I usually find the cheapest gas using gasbuddy but on a fluke I happened by a gas station with the lowest price ($3.97/gallon) on gas I've seen anywhere in months. If you're ever in the Union/S Orange/Maplewood area check the Delta gas station at 1761 N Edward Terr in Union, NJ to see if they're still offering the lowest price around. I experienced a little hiccup at drop-off and finished the return slightly outside the grace period window and had to place a call to Turo support. Turo nor Auto Team seemed to make a big issue out of it and I was eventually able to close out my trip. If I have to rent in the future I'd definitely seek out Auto Team's offerings. I'd recommend the Metuchen location for others as it's easier to get to especially if you use public transportation as it's in a nice, quiet residential area.
