Unfortunately, my experience with this Turo rental was disappointing due to several mechanical and safety concerns.
First, the steering wheel would occasionally lock or become stuck when I tried to turn the key in the ignition to start the vehicle. This made starting the car frustrating and inconvenient.
Second, the tires on the left side appeared underinflated and needed additional air, which raised concerns about whether the vehicle had been properly inspected before being rented out.
Most concerning was the way the vehicle behaved while driving. Whenever I decelerated, the car would experience an unusual jerking or hiccup-like motion, even while the vehicle was still moving. This happened repeatedly and made me question the vehicle’s mechanical condition and overall safety.
As a paying customer, I expect a rental vehicle to be properly maintained, reliable, and safe to operate. Unfortunately, this vehicle did not meet those expectations.
I strongly recommend that the host have these issues professionally inspected and resolved before renting the vehicle to another customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this vehicle in its current condition.

We’re sorry you were disappointed. We usually inspect the car after every trip and know of no mechanical issues. The parked steering lock may release by gently moving the wheel while turning the key. No tire warning light was on, but pressure needs a gauge check. Your report of jerking deserves evaluation. We documented large stains after your trip. The lockbox was left inside instead of outside, costing us $100 to unlock the car.
Super easy pickup and drop off and real clean and wonderful car. Real respectful host as well! Will definitely rent again from here!

The car was excellent on gas, a couple air vents just didn’t go in a specific direction but car still cooled down great and ran great as well. 10/10 recommend

Everything was good , had a hard time turning on the car in the beginning but I’ve noticed that you have to press the brake pedal to start the car.. other that the car is great .. rides good and very smooth. Thank you
