Car was clean, pickup was well coordinated and very easy. My only feedback would be to mention the trunk is smaller due to the hybrid battery. We were barely able to fit our one large suitcase.

We rented this 2015 Ford Fusion Energi for 11 days for a trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, and overall had a good experience.
Pickup at the Phoenix airport East Economy lot was seamless—Richard timed it perfectly and arrived with the car just as we were getting off the SkyTrain, which meant we didn’t have to pay to exit the lot. That was a great start to the trip.
The car itself has a surprising number of features for a 2015—heated and cooled seats were a nice bonus, especially with the changing temperatures between Phoenix, northern Arizona, and Sedona. We averaged about 40 mpg over the course of the trip, which we really appreciated given the amount of driving we did.
A couple of things to be aware of: the car struggled a bit with acceleration, particularly on hills, which may be due to the added weight of the hybrid battery. Also, part of the trunk space is taken up by the battery, so packing requires a little more planning.
Overall, it was a good, reliable car that got us where we needed to go efficiently. We’d recommend it, especially if fuel economy is a priority.

Car is highly recommended. Was a pleasure to drive. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a hybrid and so a large percentage of the trunk space is consumed by the battery. We ended up having to go to and from the airport with some of our luggage on our laps. But, wouldn't prevent us from renting the same car from Richard again!
