The car drove great, but the windshield was cracked and the car smelled like smoke.

My last guest smoked and I’ve been trying to eliminate the smell. I did advise you prior to your trip. I’m glad you enjoyed the vehicle.

The pickup location and quality of the car was good. The only thing that gave me pause was me having to send a private message to the host of my license. I wasn’t comfortable doing that, considering I already gave my identification through the Turo app and their identification process. I wasn’t notified that I had to send the host my document directly until an hour or so before the rental was set to start. I felt like I was between a rock and a hard place due to me needing the rental and was afraid of not being able to find another car at such a short notice. The host explained to me that it was Turo’s policy for me to send the document to her directly. I did not read that anywhere, but the document was sent and I received the rental.

That’s the policy of TURO to protect the company and the Host. Correction you didn’t privately send me a copy, it was sent through TURO APP. I also suggested that you contact TURO for further clarification. I don’t understand a 3 rating. The car was delivered, clean, fueled and on time. and I also took the time to present a tutorial. You mentioned that you had a rough day. I don’t think it was fair rating, I can’t control TURO’s policies, and you didn’t return the car back clean.
