Renting a car on Turo for the first time was honestly the best experience ever—especially as a 19-year-old. I didn’t think it would be this easy or smooth, but everything worked out perfectly. The highlight? Our 2013 Volkswagen Beetle convertible. Driving with the top down just made the whole trip feel different, like something out of a movie.
The car was super clean, fun to drive, and perfect for cruising around. It gave me that freedom I’ve been wanting without the stress that usually comes with renting at my age. The whole process felt simple, safe, and actually enjoyable.
Definitely doing this again. If you’re young and thinking about renting on Turo—do it. Totally worth it.
