The pickup process and communication were fine, but I have major concerns about the safety of this vehicle. The rear tires are completely bald. I had to drive in the rain, and the car had little traction—it felt extremely sketchy and dangerous. The host needs to replace these tires immediately before someone gets into an accident.

Long time Turo user, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The owner messaged me on the way to pick up the car that it had a giant crack in the windshield that wasn’t in photos. I arrived and entire side of car had damage too. Tires and rims had damage. I had to spend an hour taking pictures. Then the tire had a leak so eventually I just got it towed through Turo. Driver didn’t understand that Turo handles the tow so tried to bill me but Turo did get that squared away. Horrible experience. Very poorly maintained car.

NI’m sorry this was frustrating. The vehicle was returned shortly before your trip with minor cosmetic and glass damage, which I disclosed right away and offered to cancel. You confirmed you were okay proceeding.
Tire pressure at check-in was above 40 PSI with no leak. A sudden drop to 0 PSI the next day is consistent with road hazard damage during the trip.
