I honestly was not planning to leave a review, but since I was asked to provide one, I wanted to share my experience.
Unfortunately, this was the worst vehicle I have rented through Turo. The photos in the listing did not accurately represent the condition of the vehicle I received.
While you did disclose that the seats had stains, I was not informed about the strong odor inside the vehicle. It had a noticeable mildew-like smell and appeared to need a thorough detailing before being rented again.
In addition, the vehicle consistently pulled to the left while driving, which suggests it may need an alignment or other maintenance. I understand that mechanical issues can happen, but these are important safety concerns that should be addressed before a vehicle is made available for rent.
Because I rely on a vehicle to travel on the highway to and from work, I never felt comfortable or safe driving this one. That is the primary reason I chose to return it early.
In my opinion, the overall condition of this vehicle does not justify the rental price. I would not recommend it, even as a basic point-to-point transportation option, until the maintenance and cleanliness issues have been resolved.
The one positive aspect of my experience was your communication. You were responsive and easy to reach throughout the rental process, and I genuinely appreciate that. However, the quality and condition of the vehicle did not meet reasonable expectations for a Turo rental.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future renters have a better experience.
