This was my first Turo experience. It started with a different company / vendor cancelling my trip just a few hours before and then I booked this last minute. The “ host” was super helpful and made the whole experience one I wish to repeat! The car was very clean and had lots of options to make for a great open top ride. I've never used Turo before, but wanted something special. My son requested a green convertible to celebrate finishing a 6 year medical program. After a lot of searching, I picked this car. The car was gorgeous and my kid loves it. Putting the top up and down was really easy. Picking the car up and returning it was simple. The host gave clear instructions in a timely fashion.

Car was given to us late. Once receiving the car the host drives up to
us and asks if everything is okay when we were taking pictures of the car. Drove the car to the place we were staying and the store. We then started heading to our next location on the freeway and the car says to stop driving it and pull over because the tire pressure was low. We took pictures and talked to the host. We were told to continue to drive the car regardless of the issue and to keep just putting air in the tire. Overall it was a difficult process to return the car due to the issue. We were being blamed for the issue even though we had hardly drove the car. We were in a good part of town, and I can’t imagine on the busy roads that it was possible to hit a nail or something when we only drove to two almost three places. Maybe adding air to the tire was the reason the host dropped the car late to us, but that’s only an assumption. Overall the trip wasn’t handled professionally.

Haley picked up the car in perfect condition. After driving for 7+ hours, she reported a tire losing air. We advised her to visit any tire shop to simply plug the tire, but she refused, claiming there was no visible damage. Upon return, we found a significant cut loudly leaking air—impossible to miss. Accidents happen, but instead of taking responsibility and replacing the tire, Haley chose to deny the obvious and leave a 1-star review damaging my vehicle’s rating.
