Sandra and Robert are the kindest, most helpful, and most professional hosts on Turo! From the moment we booked until the moment we dropped the car off, they were open with communication, clear with directions, and available for any help and even suggestions for places to go during our trip! At one point, I was confused about how to start the car, so I texted them in the Turo app. Within seconds, Robert called me on my phone and informed me (nicely, I might add) to step down a little harder on the brake before pushing the start button. Thanks again for that, Robert! That was more an issue with me not knowing how to operate a mini cooper though, not so much an issue with the car itself nor the hosts 😉 They gave clear instructions to us early for returning the car, and it was nice to feel so taken care of for our first time in Maui. Rest assured, next time we return to Maui, we’ll absolutely be renting from them again! For anyone going to Maui and in need of a car, be sure to book with Sandra and Robert! Best hosts ever! Mahalo again!!!

We really enjoyed the mini cooper except for a few things that I feel communication and maybe not rushing to rent a car that was not ready. We had a spare tire in our back seat because the light was coming on but you assured us it was fixed. Lol it wasn’t, the light came on and we had to stop and put air in.
All in all a good experience.
The next time you rent a car and need space for four people and four bags don’t rent a Mini Cooper. The spare tire was not in the car because it had a leaking tire it was there because Mini doesn’t put a spare tire in that car normally and you don’t want to be stranded. The tires on that car are six months old and the tread is 100% so your comment about tread being low is incorrect.

5 stars! Sandra was very communicative and provided detailed instructions on how to pick up and drop off the vehicle. And did it in a way to avoid the short term parking fee which was a nice touch. Nice car to maneuver on some of the small little roads around the island.
