Car was super nice and clean and well maintained but I do feel like if you are picking up from the airport you should know you have to pay an additional $23 to get the car out of the garage. That’s one thing but the main reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of communication. I ended up having a family emergency and got half way to my destination and turn around and go back home in the middle of the night. I messaged the host to inform them I have to drop the car back off due to an unexpected emergency, they read my messages and did not reply at all after returning the car so I could do a proper check in. They would not accept my trip change so I could properly return the car I’m guessing so they didn’t have to reimburse me but honestly I didn’t even know I would get reimbursed I wasn’t expecting it at all. I had to call Turo support to reach out to them so they could end my trip since I had already returned the car, they still didn’t answer but read all my messages and finally accepted my trip change after telling them if they aren’t going to accept then I’m coming back to finish my trip. I understand my situation was a bit inconvenient but stuff does happen and I was very respectful and made sure I returned the car how I received it. I just don’t appreciate the bad communication reading my messages and not replying while im already dealing with an emergency.
