The car was a good car and well maintained. After I returned the car from my trip the host accused me of smoking in the car. They also said it wasn’t tidy. I uploaded pictures from when I dropped the car off. He was going to charge me a $150 fee when accusing me of smoking in the vehicle. I don’t even smoke at all. I will not rent from this host again. Not even if it’s my last resort. My first bad experience and I’ve been using Turo since 2021. Also my first complaint ever as well.

Accountability is a big key to life. We had to run our ozone due to the odor. Not to mention the ashes in the window seal/window. There was clear evidence of smoking activity. So yes we attempted to submit a smoking fee along with a cleaning fee since the car was also left in horrible condition. We’re not here to get money from our guest. We are simply just documenting what we see from the aftermath. We hope you just take accountability moving forward. Good luck!

Everything was good — pickup easy, car comfy, host communicative, let me return later than scheduled — but the sound system was awful. Sounded like there was a blown speaker — dash rattled when I played music
