Overall, this was a middle of the road experience. The car was clean, well-presented, and drove well throughout the trip. Coming from a Tesla with the latest 2025 Full Self-Driving software, this vehicle’s version felt a bit dated and clunky by comparison, but that’s more a reflection of the hardware/software than the host.
Pickup and drop-off were both easy, although they took place on the side of a busy road, which wasn’t my favorite and made taking before and after photos not only tricky but ultimately unsafe.
The biggest disappointment was the condition of the Tesla key card I was given. Before there was ever an issue with it, I asked if I could use the Tesla phone key instead, but that request was declined for “security reasons” which is silly because tesla are specifically designed for shared phone key access and basically unrelated from security.. nevertheless, The key card I was provided was visibly heat-warped when I received it, as i pulled it out of my wallet which i would consider normal use it cracked in half- making it unusable and left us locked out of the car in a part of town with spotty service.
What should have been a simple rental turned into a dispute over replacing a key card that already appeared to be in poor condition before the trip began. That experience left the biggest negative impression and is the primary reason for my rating.
The other frustration was around Full Self-Driving. I booked this vehicle specifically because the listing advertised FSD as included which was a large part of my selection of this rental but the welcome message I received before the trip stated that enabling it would require an additional $80 fee. I had to reach out to clarify that FSD was included with my reservation and was told the host had been instructed by turo to go about the process as he did. That interaction felt unnecessary and took away from what should have been a seamless experience.
The car itself met my expectations, but the host interactions made what should have been a straightforward rental feel more complicated than it needed to be. With a key in good condition, phone key access, and the advertised features provided without guests having to ask, this easily could have been a 5-star experience

Im sure Dillion is a nice guy at heart. The access key cards were brand new and happened to break after he requested access to the app which I did not give. That is my decision I feel comfortable making. Notes taken about the Jefferson street pickup, I will consider that for future rentals
Dillions rating does not reflect the service provided. I also do not allow pets in my vehicle unless the pet fee is purchased that was breached as well.
Hope Dillion shows more consideration in the future.
