This was not only my first time renting through Turo, but my first time renting a car EVER. Yoshi came highly rated on the app, and after the least expected came to pass, I got to see why.
The car I’d initially rented with Yoshi suddenly ran into issues less than a day later. I just knew my whole trip would go down the drain without having a rental car - and just my luck for this to happen. Until…
Yoshi immediately jumped into action putting my safety first and insisting I pull over. He covered the cost of my Uber to get to my destination while he grabbed me ANOTHER CAR!! He arrived at my cousin’s that evening with what became my vehicle for the rest of my stay.
He even gave me a partial refund since it was an older car than I’d reserved. I had to hug Yoshi when I met him once more on the final day of my trip. Thanks to his responsiveness, care, and integrity I was able to have one of the best and most memorable trips of my life.
I can’t wait to rent from him again on all my future trips to LA!

First time using Turo! Really great experience. Yoshi was kind, attentive and accommodating. Outside of the car was a little dirty, but we picked up at LAX which is a dusty place and obviously outside of the hosts control. Inside of the car was clean!
The Honda Fit drives really well and the compact size allowed for easier parking in and around LA. Features like the side camera when making a right turn is helpful if you're navigating LAX/ LA roads for the first time.
*I would make sure your allow Turo to send you notifications while on your trip. I missed a message from Host that should have been answered sooner!
