Owner made a last minute switch to accommodate me because Turo didn’t issue the warning that the original car I booked was a stick shift. Typically Turo makes you click a check box agreeing that you understand and that you’re able to drive a stick shift as I’ve done it before multiple times. That never happened when I booked the original car but the owner was able to help me out for the same exact rate.
Turo wouldn’t allow me to extend the rental due to some sort of verification issue after I’ve rented over 60 vehicles on Turo and even just did a re-verification per their request in order to book this vehicle. Because of this issue I returned the rental a bit late as I was trying to extend through the app and communicate with Turo, unfortunately to no avail.
As far as the car itself, it was clean and ready upon arrival. It did have a bit of mileage on it but it drove decent and was a pretty smooth ride. There was a service vehicle error code on the screen the entire time but the car was fine otherwise. Thank you for accommodating me Kristian.
