If this is your first time booking with turo I would suggest booking through an actual rental car company. This was my first experience and during my first day of my trip the car was already experiencing maintenance issues. My first 45 minutes of picking up the car I was stuck at a traffic stop because the car would not accelerate as I am pushing on the gas pedal. Shortly being stuck I turned the car off and turned it back on while being stuck in the middle of traffic so I was put in a dangerous situation. I decided to stop at a drive through before arriving to my location and as I am ordering food there is smoke coming from the vehicle under the hood. I parked the car in sat in the parking lot for over an hour waiting for the smoke to stop while being on the phone with customer service issuing a refund. This was the worst experience ever. I booked this reservation for 5 day trip and only used to car for 45 minutes out of my entire trip. Not to mention road side assistance finally came and tow the vehicle during my last day of the trip so I was unable to operate the car during my whole trip. I waited 5 days for a tow service and never used to car since then. The host was good as far as communication but car quality is my main concern and biggest issue. The check engine, tire pressure, and battery light all came on at the same time. This was just a waste of time and money. Very disappointed and frustrated especially being alone and visiting in from another state. Do not book here!
