Let me start with positives. Christopher was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the rental process. The car was clean when I picked it up and, as expected from a Miata, it was fun to drive.
That said, prospective renters should keep in mind that this vehicle has over 80k miles which I wish I had known. So, there were LOTS of noises coming from the car, including constant brake squeal and various rattles from the doors, soft top, and interior trim. I also noticed steering wheel vibration when braking at speeds above 50 mph.
Overall, the car was ok for cruising around, but considering the rental price and additional hefty fees they charge, I don’t feel it offers the best value compared to other options available on Turo.
