The car worked great and pickup and drop off were both very simple. The car may be due for a little bit of an in depth clean as it smelled slightly of weed upon pickup.

This experience with Turo helped me decide to go back to rental cars.
When I searched for this vehicle, I searched cars to be picked up at the airport, as I do every time so I was surprised when we got off the plane and realized our car was a 10 minute drive, which we had to pay just an additional $60 for the car. I realize this must be an issue with Turo's search engine but it would be nice to know before I purchased this car that the pickup was not at the airport. When our Uber dropped us off we were a little nervous about taking photos in the dark industrial area with homeless people close by.
We first noticed all the windows were dirty with a hazy film, probably due to others vaping in this smoke free car. We spent 5 minutes cleaning just the front windshield (wouldn't it be nice to be able to charge a fee for our services). There were also 3 visible air freshners trying to get rid of the cigarette smoke we could smell, especially when the car was warm.
The vehicle was a 2023 but was a pretty well worn 2023 with scratches and dents in several places.
I won't use Turo again. It was pretty great for a while but all good things come to an end.
