An unforgettable day with an amazing 1974 Corvette Stingray!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting Barry’s 1974 Corvette Stingray. We picked up the car in Long Beach and set off on an incredible road trip through Los Angeles: Hollywood, Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Boulevard, Malibu, and finally the winding roads of Latigo Canyon before heading back to Long Beach.
The Corvette was the perfect car for this journey: beautiful, full of character, and an absolute pleasure to drive. We enjoyed every single mile!
But what made the experience even better was meeting Barry. He is a genuine car enthusiast, incredibly friendly and generous. He told us in the morning to enjoy the car and drive as much as we wanted, and despite our long road trip, he didn’t charge us for the extra mileage.
Barry works on his cars himself: he even replaced the Corvette’s engine. And you can immediately feel his passion. We also had a great conversation about his Mustang, his next project, and which classic American cars Europeans would love to rent in California.
If you love cars, don’t just rent Barry’s Corvette: meet Barry and enjoy the whole experience. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Los Angeles.
