About 14 hours before my trip, the host told me the Mercedes I had booked was unavailable. I was offered a different car or the option to cancel. With so little notice, finding another rental would have been difficult and likely expensive, so I accepted the replacement. When I asked what happened to the Mercedes, the host said it had been in an accident.
The replacement Cadillac XTS was dirty inside and had tears and damage to the seats, dashboard, and doors. The transmission repeatedly slipped during acceleration, and the car made crackling noises over bumps and dips in the road.
After the trip, I read other reviews describing similar last-minute vehicle changes. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about booking with this host. I did not receive the car I reserved, and the replacement was in poor condition.

I didn't realize the car have so much body damage. It ran great though.

The car was no where near what the pictures looked like. It was dented up the passenger seat completely torn up. Car should not be rentable was highly disappointed. I was in town for a wedding wanted a nice car but was embarrassed to be driving it. Pick up and drop off where easy just not what expected at all.
