The was very extremely dirty. The inside as well as the outside. The inside needed a deep detailing. Also the car had an excessive amount of dents, scratches and damage. When I contacted the host he asked me to send photos and then said that it was “normal” then I contacted Turo and even the support person said “Yeah, it’s Filthy” his own words! But then he proceeded to tell me that it probably wouldn’t be anything done about it because I didn’t call Turo within the first 30mins even though that’s something that I didn’t know and they don’t make it clear upfront. Not to mention I’ve NEVER picked up a rental in this crappy of condition EVER. The host and the support person said that I could return the car but my schedule was so tight and it would have ended up costing me more money because of everything I would have to go through to do so. Not to mention find another car at such short notice.
The Turo support person also told me to send the video that I have of the car via email (even though he can’t promise anything) and I’m still going to do so just so they can see the condition for themselves. My biggest issue with all of this is the ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY that the host had. Just “You can return it”
