Pros:
- Pickup/dropoff location pin accurate
- Car operated entire trip
- Host answered call on first ring
Cons:
- Host did not message lockbox code ahead of time; responded to phone call, but did not provide code via text for 24 hours. Had to follow up twice.
- Car felt very dated (more like 2008 vs 2018)
- Body of car was beat up / rims zip-tied
- Interior didn’t feel dirty, but smelled musty
- Brakes required good amount of pressure to stop
- Pickup/dropoff location required Lyft to/from airport in a sketchy part of town at night
- Bluetooth device had ringing noise in background of music entire time

Instructions were not followed, even though Bluetooth was available to connect your personal device and listen to your own music. You also requested last-minute drop-off service because your scheduled driver repeatedly canceled on you. The vehicle was picked up late without prior communication or notice regarding the delay. Upon return, the vehicle had pet hair that required additional cleaning. We handled the cleaning at no additional charge to you as a courtesy.
Location was easy to find communication was great anything I needed he contacted me and help car drove smooth will definitely be contacting him soon to rent out another one he even gave me more options thank you again

I blame myself for this experience because I did not listen to my gut.
The host was very accommodating at first and assisted me over the phone with locating the vehicle. However, I did find it odd that the vehicle was parked in the Enterprise parking garage, and Enterprise employees had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about it. They looked at me like I was crazy.
My biggest piece of advice to anyone renting this vehicle is to document everything. Keep records of phone calls, text messages, or any other form of communication that happens outside of the Turo app.
Moving forward, I also encourage potential renters to read the reviews carefully—not just what customers are saying, but also how the host responds to those reviews. After going back and reading them myself, the responses painted the full picture for me.
With that being said, thank you for the experience. It taught me how to be more cautious, trust my instincts, and document everything. I hope this experience also gave you an opportunity to learn and improve as a host, Anthony.
