This was a frustrating experience and significantly impacted my plans. Within a couple of hours of picking up the car, it would not start due to a completely dead battery.
The host did respond and sent someone out that night, but the issue was not properly resolved. I was told to go straight home and assured the battery would be replaced early the next morning.
I made it very clear multiple times that I needed the car ready early for a time-sensitive event. I was told the issue would be handled by 7:00 AM, but there were repeated delays, including late arrival and even bringing the wrong battery. The car was not operational until after 9:15 AM.
As a direct result, I missed the event entirely, which was one of the main reasons I rented the vehicle.
While there was communication throughout, the car was not provided in a reliable condition, and the delays showed a lack of preparedness for a confirmed booking. I would not rely on this host for any time-sensitive plans.
