Our vehicle was quite good and our host was excellent. Christopher delivered the car full & clean and it performed satisfactorily; I returned it the same.
Turo's App & website however are a nightmare. Turo cancelled my original reservation (no explanation) and I had to find/make a replacement..Ok I guess. After finding & reserving my Passat, all was fine until I tried to upload pictures of my DL & smiling face...Turo told me they couldn't find the reservation until I verified my phone & e-mail...OK. e-mail verification went allright but everytime I entered my phone verification code Toro said it had expired...6 seconds after I received it.
Luckily my host sent me a text & I called him to explain what I was seeing & why I couldn't send him a picture of my DL. He was very accomodating & reviewed it when he delivered the vehicle and told me he was having difficulties on his end also!
Returned vehicle 1 week later then started getting e-mails from Turo that I hadn't turned the car in and I was in danger of overage charges. Apparently there is no phone contact number for Turo so I found their chat service. I tried to explain the situation.
I said thank you & gave up.
