"The car was great to drive, and I had a fantastic experience overall. My only issue was the frequency of reminders about things like keeping the car clean and refilling the gas tank. As someone who owns a Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz, and Buick, I'm very aware of these responsibilities and always ensure my rentals are well-maintained."

Car quality and experience was amazing. Had a blast driving the charger. Unfortunately, dealing with the host took away from that awesome experience. Overall, communication was poor. There were multiple conflicting directions. Poor detail. And the host seemed annoyed that I was even renting the vehicle for the week.
The host had this expectation that I was going to return the car shiny and polished like I received it (on the exterior) like I received it. However, due to driving the car over to Zion, that was just not possible without paying for a car wash (which I eventually did after an in person argument). Also, and this has never happened to me before on turo, the host met me in person and handed the vehicle off directly (and was present for drop-off). I did not like this because after dropping off the vehicle, I had a 10 minute argument with the host about how dirty the vehicle was and that they expected me to return it to them as clean as I picked it up. To be fair, the car had rain spots and dust on it due to it raining while I was at Zion. And also some bug splats and dead bugs. This did not seem "unreasonably" dirty to me and I believe most would agree. I kept the inside very clean and returned it free it trash. I did not take the vehicle on any gravel or dirty roads. In fact, it sat in the driveway of my air BNB for most of the week that I had it.
I probably wasn't the ideal renter to him since I was driving it over to Zion. So I guess if you end up renting from this host, don't take it over to Zion. And don't expect the host to care about your experience or enjoyment. They care far more about their car than making sure you have a pleasant trip.
