Battery issues but it was a smooth ride

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear the Cruze was a smooth ride overall. The battery issue has since been resolved and was traced to a battery that was nearing the end of its life. Unfortunately, the extreme Las Vegas heat is especially hard on car batteries and can cause them to fail with very little warning. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention, and the vehicle has been repaired and is ready for future trips.

The car ran well overall, but the host didn’t leave the keys in the vehicle, so I ended up waiting about 30 minutes. They did issue a credit for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. However, on the day of drop‑off, I went to clean the car out and found a small, smoked piece of a cigarette tucked between the front seat and the cup holders. Could be intentional or from the previous driver, didn't matter however definitely not something you want to discover in a rental.
