CAR WASHES: For any reason, if you should choose to wash the vehicle, please utilize a hand wash or touch less/brushless wash. Vehicle washing is not necessary prior to the end of the trip, as we detail all vehicles completely, unless of course, there is an excess amount of dirt or alkaline dust on the vehicle. A cleaning fee will be charged up to $150 in severe cases related to the interior, i.e. spilled liquids, pet hair removal, smoke smell, etc depending on severity of uncleanliness. AIRPORT PARKING: We prepay the first thirty minutes of parking as a courtesy from your trip’s scheduled start time so you don’t have to worry! Any fees incurred after this time will be your responsibility. PARKING TICKET POLICY: Park at your own risk. If for any reason you receive a ticket, please notify us immediately. You are responsible for any tickets you receive during your rental period. VALUABLES: San Francisco is beautiful and amazing, however, vehicle break ins can and do happen here. Please remove anything valuable (even a cell phone charger) from sight to reduce likelihood of break in. This also includes luggage, purses, backpacks and gym bags. Just a reminder, per Turo’s TOS: - No racing, reckless driving, or off-roading. No race track use or launching. - No smoking or vaping in/around the car (Turo will assess a fine).

• Do I need to refuel the vehicle before returning it at the end of my trip?

  Your trip will always begin with a full tank of fuel. Please refuel the vehicle with premium fuel before the end of your trip OR:
 * SAVE TIME with prepaid fuel - choose this option under the EXTRA menu. Return the VW with fuel at any level when you repurchase this option with no penalty. * If you do not choose to self refuel or prepay for fuel, you will be charged the cost of fuel (currently $4.99/gal at the nearest gas station) plus a $10 convenience fee from Turo.

• How do tolls work?

  We install a complimentary FasTrak transponder on all vehicles that you will find on the dash of the vehicle. Since all Bay Area bridges are cashless billing - this will allow you to pass through without stress! All tolls will be billed following your trip for exact costs incurred. We also install a system that monitors the vehicles health and the travel of the vehicle, so we can verify and cross check all bridge crossings for accuracy with the FasTrak system and ensure prompt delivery of billing.

• Are your vehicles sanitized between trips?

  The car will be deep cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected before your trip. As part of our commitment to safety, Turo requires that we clean and disinfect the vehicle you are renting before trips following their rigorous cleaning & disinfection standards.  In addition to general cleaning, we also clean and disinfect all frequently touched automotive surfaces. These include keys, exterior door handles, trunk latches, and vehicle interiors.
