The host was really wonderful. However the smelt of pot. It was a very strong smell that made it so you could not stay in the car u less the windows were down and the AC on. Also the interior was disgusting. Stains all over the back seat and any areas that had exposed carpet. The key fob lock button is completely indented so it makes it difficult to lock the vehicle. There is a message when you turn on the car saying oil change necessary NOW. It is just in poor condition. I was planning to drive other team mates if my daughter but the interior was so gross I could not put anyone in the back seats and the car smelled so bad no one wanted to ride with us. Rodney is super responsive and very pleasant but that vehicle should not be on Turo without full disclosure of the smell and condition of interior.

The car drove great but the steering wheel was lose, the left back blinker was out, the car smelled of weed when I got there, and it didn’t look like the pictures from 2023 as posted. The seats now have covers over them and its stains on the carpet. I messaged him to tell him what was wrong with the car to actually fix it because I work with cars and he blew up on me and told me to never rent from him again. I have pictures of tobacco on the floor when I arrived to check in and sent those to turo because he claimed I smoked in there and I’m in the army, I can’t smoke or I’ll lose my job! I just wanted to help him but I guess I overstepped.
There are multiple references in the Turo policies that smoking 🚬 is prohibited in a Turo vehicle and I clearly stated in my instructions that smoking was NOT ALLOWED 🚫. This guest completely ignored this and brought the vehicle back with a heavy marijuana smoke smell! Sometimes it takes months for this smell to be gone from a vehicle and this affects my future rentals. THIS GUEST IS NOT RECOMMENDED!
