Chevrolet Cruze

The car that I rented from AD Rentals Seattle LLC (a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LS) was in a significantly worse condition than advertised and expected:
-There were dents and a big missing paint chip on front passenger side panel that looked like it got hit repeatedly with a baseball bat.
-The front driver's side panel had what looked like the remnants of graffiti spray paint that had been attempted to be removed but was still pretty visible.
-The seats had black leather covers that were not in good condition. The driver's seat cover was stretched/deformed and didn't fit right. Also, the black leather of the seat covers were hot in the summer sun. I was expecting the clean woven cloth fabric material from the photos.
-The license plate was badly bent.
-The key fob was broken so the actual key did not remain contracted/folded up into the fob. This made the fob uncomfortable when carried in my pocket.
-The flooring in the trunk was very dirty/oily, making it unpleasant to put my belongings in.

None of this was documented in the photos or post on Turo. The listing stated that it had 28 trips; however, its condition was worse than normal wear for that many trips. It's obvious that the photos from the post were taken when the vehicle was in much better condition.

I had to drive more than 12 hours and 660 miles in that vehicle. The vehicle operated well and got me to where I needed to go. However, the exterior damage made it unappealing and embarrassing as I was planning on having other people ride with me during the trip, but was not able to given its poor cosmetic conditions.

I did not have the luxury of contacting Turo or AD Rentals Seattle LLC to communicate this or request another car as I was on a very tight schedule the entire time and spent most of my trip in a small, rural town.

I realize that AD Rentals Seattle LLC is a company and not an individual owner, so they have numerous vehicles to maintain. Evidently, they did not closely monitor the condition of this vehicle over time.

I would recommend that AD Rentals Seattle remove this vehicle from it's fleet and make necessary repairs as it is not suitable for rental in this condition.

My first impression was that it wasn’t the cleanest on the inside or out but it worked just fine for us. No issues, good on gas.
