I was excited to rent this BMW Gran Coupe for a long weekend. Picking up the vehicle at the airport was convenient. The interior was clean and in good condition. The trunk did not open and was unusable which was only the beginning of disappointments. I made it about 10 minutes away from the airport before there was a burning smell and the car was smoking. After pulling over in a random parking lot, I discovered the oil cap was not replaced after a recent service. The host, Philip, did his best to help and arrived over an hour later with a replacement vehicle. He was very friendly and patient during the whole process. Turo customer service took nearly 4 hours to assist in getting the vehicle reservation switched. This resulted in me missing an important event and ruining the beginning of my trip. Turo was a complete disappointment. Philip deserves 5 stars, unfortunately the trip itself does not.

Cars check engine light was on, the air vents on driver side did not pass air and the tailgate would not always open.
