It rented a car for September 4th. The site would not allow me to book for the 4th and return on the same day so it required me to book the 5th as well. I reached out to the host and explained that I would be needing to pick up the vehicle at 12:30am and drop the vehicle back off at before 2:00pm due to my flights. The host said no problem just speak with customer service for any financial adjustments. I simply just needed transportation to my son’s Airforce graduation and was flying back home right after. I could have took an uber or public transit but due to strict times from the Airforce; I did not want to chance being late and not being able to see my son graduate. Once my flight landed, I picked up the vehicle from the airport at 12:30am and dropped it back off at the airport by 1:00pm as previously discussed during booking. During drop off I continued to communicate with the host. The host accepted the vehicle back on the 4th, gave me instructions on where to leave the key and I left. I also sent in the request to cancel the 5th and host never responded and let the request expire. So, although I trusted the host and expected so type of integrity, I was still charged for the vehicle despite him having the car back the day before. Calling customer service was no help. Despite seeing the messages and confirming the car was accepted early, none of my money was returned. BEWARE!!!
