We had a lot of fun with John's car. The car is in good shape and has more range than you think. We kept to the Kona coast mostly and were very comfortable able with it, did one drive to Hilo and back via Waimea no problem. John was super helpful and meet us at the airport, which made all that super simple. Our kids loved the teal blue color and something about it made us feel a little more like a local than other rental cars.

Great car for all the driving on the island you have to do. John was a great host — flexible, accommodating, kind. If we ever come back we’ll definitely be looking into booking with him again.
