Pretty disappointed with this experience. When I made the reservation, I selected the airport as the pickup location, so on the day of my flight I was very surprised to realize the actual pickup location was about 25 minutes away.
The entire reason I booked the car was to avoid having to rely on an Uber in the middle of the night for my very early return flight. Having to arrange transportation at 3:00–4:00 AM completely defeated the purpose of booking the Turo in the first place.
I reached out hoping we could work out a reasonable solution, but the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. I understand they are running a business and have their policies to follow, but given the circumstances I expected a little more understanding and customer service.
Unfortunately, I ended up making other arrangements because I couldn’t risk missing my flight. Overall, just a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Jake, you messaged us when you landed. Wanted us to drop everything and scramble to get the car to you. My team is small and simply can’t always accommodate last minute requests. Your reasoning was that you didn’t trust scheduling an Uber. Because you had a 4 AM flight out on Saturday. This is not our fault, then you wanted to cancel when you were scheduled to pick up the vehicle, and instead of canceling as Turo instructs, you keep it so you can leave a 1 star review to damage our business.
